EMERGENCY - DIAL 911
Murrysville Medic One provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance transportation. Emergency Transportation is handled through Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety. Emergency calls are handled by calling 911.
Non-emergency ambulance transports are arranged for individuals that other means of transportation is contraindicated.

The ambulances can be used as transportation for many occasions:
- To and from hospitals
- Doctor’s appointments
- Dialysis clinics
- Physical therapy
- Radiation treatments
Information Needed Prior to Scheduling
- Date/ needed
- Appointment time
- Name/address/phone number
- Birth date
- Social Security Number
- Insurance information / Billing information
- Pick-up and drop-off locations
- Special needs
Please note: Not all insurance companies pay for wheelchair van services
Scheduling
Scheduling should be done in advance to ensure the availability of an ambulance. But advanced notice is not required.
To schedule an ambulance trip call 724-327-1222. The dispatcher will arrange the transportation.
